E-Week "Admit One" Prize Giveaway
Description: Starting on Friday, February 13th, come get your E-Week "Admit One" Studio Pass at the Engineering Council office or any E-Week event. Collect a sticker for each event you attend. At the end of the week, you'll get a number of raffle tickets equal to the stickers on your Studio Pass. We'll pick several winners at the E-Week Semi-Formal.
The Grand Prize is an XBox 360 Pro! Everyone and anyone is eligible to win, so come to as many events as possible to increase your odds and good luck! Host: Engineering Council
E-Week Dress-up Days
Description: Dress as your favorite characters from a movie that fits the theme of the day. Wear a cape on Superheroes Day, sport a Bulls jersey on Wednesday, or don a Jedi robe for Sci-Fi Thursday! Movie Poster Contest
Description: Create an E-Week movie poster in the style of your favorite films! Submit your entries to the E-Week mailbox in 103C Engineering Hall or e-mail to eweek@ec.uiuc.edu.
Entries are due Wednesday, February 18th. Voting will be held during Cheap Lunch on the 19th and 20th. Winners will be announced at the end of Cheap Lunch on Friday and notified by e-mail. Pop Goes the Soda!
Description: Starting Monday, each society can stop by the EC office 103C Engineering Hall and pick up a pop-tab collection box, and start collecting pop tabs! Every time you open a can of soda, save the pop tab for your collection! The deadline to turn in your collection is Friday at 3:00 in the EC office. Point Information: Earn 1 point for every ten pop tabs you collect, with a maximum of 20 points possible (that's 200+ tabs!)Host: Engineering Council

Engineers Bowl for Kids' Sake

Dodgeball

Sign up for the Engineering Freshmen Committee's Spring Dodgeball Fundraiser outside of the Engineering Council office (103C Engineering Hall)! The tournament will kick off E-Week and will be held in the MAC room of the ARC on Sunday, February 15th from 1-4 p.m. Teams will consist of 6 players with optional subs (2 max). The cost is $5 per player, $30 per team and all proceeds go to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) an organization whose sole purpose is to help needy children survive. Each player on the winning team will receive a gift card to Jamba Juice and the title of EFC Dodgeball Champions! Blood Drive
Time: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PMDescription: Come donate blood on Tuesday. Be sure to tell them that you are donating for E-Week and tell them what society you represent. Teams participating will earn both E-Week and Service Incentives points. Sign up online at service.ec.uiuc.edu in advance for additional points! Point Information: 3 points will go to every society for each person donating. Every society with three-four participants earns 15 points, for five-nine people societies earn 30 points, and for ten or more people societies earn 50 points. 3 bonus points will be awarded to individuals for a double red cell donation. Cupcake Eating Contest
Time: 7:00 PM - 7:30 PMDescription: Teams of 3-5 people will compete to eat the most cupcakes in rounds. For example, in round 1, the first person in each team will eat as many cupcakes as they can. The top half of teams that have eaten the most cupcakes will continue on to round 2. Then, a second person on the team will eat as many cupcakes as they can! And so on...The team that eats the most cupcakes in the final round will win! Point Information: Winning team gets 10 points, second place gets 7 points, third place gets 5 points. The Towering Marshmallow
Time: 6:30 PM - 7:00 PMDescription: Compete against other groups to build the tallest tower out of tooth picks and mini-marshmallows. Use your resources wisely and think creatively to win. You will have 20 minutes to build your tower. The remaining 10 minutes will be for scoring. Teams will be made of 3-4 participants. Point Information: Tallest tower wins 10 points, second place wins 7 points and third place wins 5 points. The most creative tower (to be deemed by the judges) will receive 3 additional points. Scavenger Hunt
Time: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PMDescription: Participants start at a table set up in Engineering Hall. They will be given a quest to go obtain some predetermined object from a person located in one of the various buildings on the Engineering quad. The location of the person must be figured out from the quest which will be sort of like a riddle. When the participant figures out the building and goes there, they will find the person there with a bright yellow exclamation mark above their head. They will need to do some silly task for this person, like the chicken dance, to get the needed object and bring it back to the table at engineering hall.
